If you've visited the Emerald Coast and taken advantage of the beautiful beaches at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park and Henderson Beach State Park, then you've visited a property benefitted by the Friends of the Emerald Coast Parks. Those wanting to kick off 2023 by giving back to this awesome organization can participate in the 16th Annual Turtle Plunge

At Henderson Beach State Park's 16th Annual Turtle Plunge, we're freezin' for a reason! Join the Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks at Henderson Beach State Park on Sunday, January 1st, 2023 and take on the plunge challenge. Attendees will be jumping into the Gulf of Mexico together at 11AM to benefit the organization. It is always lots of fun! You'll also get to enjoy enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks and listen to live music by Epic & Elegant Entertainment.

The first 100 participants to register will receive a free 16th Annual Turtle Plunge t-shirt.

The Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that functions to provide educational, interpretive, and financial assistance to Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park and Henderson Beach State Park. They do a wonderful job of maintaining local parks for the public to enjoy. This event is an important fundraiser for them as they look to plan their projects for the next year.

The pre-registration Fee is $25.00, and the day of registration fee is $30.00. All proceeds will benefit Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks and Destin Junior Lifeguard Program.
