Kid-Friendly Fun at the Emerald Coast Science Center

If you've ever traveled with kids, then you're fully aware of how hard it is to keep them entertained. Attractions like art museums and breweries are great for adults, but often cause restlessness in younger children. Luckily, the Emerald Coast is full of kid-friendly attractions. One excellent place to visit with children is the Emerald Coast Science Center

The Emerald Coast Science Center is a great way for children to experience science for themselves, by doing (and playing!) rather than watching. The Center is meant to promote STEM education and public outreach, and it does a fantastic job of doing so.

There are 45 exhibits at the Center. Outdoors exhibits include an awesome marine exhibit that teaches kids about boats and a Dino dig pit. Inside, there is are an assortment of exhibits dedicated to topics such as robotics, engineering, physics, electricity, color, light, sound, outer space, and more! My favorite exhibits are the ones that feature animals. There is an exhibit that teaches kids about sea turtles, and there is a functioning aviary as well as an assortment of reptiles and rodents

Kids will have so much fun exploring the Emerald Coast Science Center- and you'll have fun watching them learn! Maybe you'll even learn something yourself!
