Destin is known as "The World's Luckiest Fishing Village," and as such, it is also home to some truly fantastic snorkeling. If you're vacationing on the Emerald Coast and you want to experience the secret world of the ocean in a new and exciting way, then you should make time to visit one of these snorkeling spots.

Norriego Point

Norriego Point is flanked on one side by Destin Harbor and on the other side by East Pass. On the east side, there are projected jetties that feature excellent swimming and snorkeling. The west side is nice to explore as well, but it is frequented by boats, so visitors must be careful.

Henderson Beach State Park

Henderson Beach State Park is a gorgeous park, featuring sprawling white dunes and calm shorelines. There is ample space for swimmers and snorkelers to explore. As a bonus, Henderson Beach State Park is a nesting ground for loggerhead sea turtles, so visitors may get lucky and see some turtles!

Snorkel Tours

If you want a guided snorkeling tour, then you should check out one of Destin's snorkeling companies. Destin Snorkel offers 2 and 3 hour trips, and Flipper's Adventures offers 2.5 hour trips. Both companies also offer other activities, such as dolphin cruises and snuba trips.
