November 9, 2020

Miramar Beach is an old school South Walton neighborhood that features scenic views, vintage vibes, and modern amenities that will delight any visitors! Here are a few fun things to do around Miramar Beach!

Beachfront Restaurants

If you're visiting Miramar Beach, you HAVE to eat at a nearby waterfront restaurant. Some popular options for seafood with a view are Surf Hut, Pompano Joe's, The Crab Trap, and Capt. Dave's

Shopping

If you're looking to shop while you're in South Walton, Grand Boulevard at Sandestin is an excellent strip mall with lots to offer! It has lots of upscale, popular stores to peruse. A trip here can easily occupy an entire day. Grand Boulevard also has a farmers' market that will satisfy all of your local food needs!

Harbor Cruises

There is no shortage of boating opportunities on Miramar Beach. Pole Position Cruises is known for their elegant dinner cruises, but they also offer sunset cruises and fishing charters. Coastline Charter Co offers sunset dolphin tours, bachelor and bachelorette party rentals, kids trips, and boating expeditions. Not satisfied? Find a private charter in town!

Beaches

Last but certainly not least- THE BEACHES! Miramar Regional Public Beach is stunning, clean, and family-friendly! The best access point is next to Pompano Joe's. Neighborhood beach access can be reached on foot. Frangista Beach is also gorgeous and tends to be quieter than the access point mentioned previously. The best way to find quieter places to swim and relax is to get friendly with the locals!
